Yeah, yeah. I thought I’d check it out.
I know, right? ;)
How’ve you been? It’s been way too long.
And how’s that workin’ out?
Very modest, Bee. :p
I’ve been good, just really busy lately. I know, it’s been way too long. How’ve you been the past while?
You hating on watching paint dry? That shit is the best! Haha, but yeah sure why not.
Not hating, just pointing out the fact that it’s kinda boring. No offense though, dude. :p
Alright cool, the back door’s open.
thedtorres started following you
Well look who decided to join the rest of us here on Tumblr.
Always a pleasure to see you, DeSousa.
Well sometimes just hanging out is a good thing bro.
You got that right, man.
You wanna come over and play video games or something? Relaxing is the best, but now I’m starting to watch paint dry and that’s fucking boring.
Drew! Nothing much bro, just hanging. You?
Honestly? Nothing much as of now. I was busy earlier, but now I’m just hanging out too.
Not to burst your bubble, but I think it’s supposed to be ‘screamin green’.
City of Angels || Drew
Katie sighed, knowing Drew was right. In the end, all this pain, suffering and uncomfortable movements would all be worth it to see the little guy or girl that her and Drew created together. Just at the thought, Katie’s hands softly graced her stomach, giving her pregnant belly a few strokes and rubs, before murmuring to her baby. “Oh yes, Mommy and Daddy already love you. I promise.” Katie chuckled at how ridiculous she sounded, but it didn’t bother her. Katie had transformed into that type of mother who would constantly talk to her unborn child. As they pulled up to the doctors office, Katie smiled, waiting until Drew had gotten out and gone over to her side before unbuckling her seat belt and wiggling her way out. With her big stomach, Katie needed Drew’s help to move around most of the time. When Katie finally got her balance standing up, she grabbed Drew’s hand and gave it a squeeze, kissing his cheek lovingly before strolling inside. After checking in, Katie and Drew sat down to wait until her name was called. Katie spotted another teenage girl waiting, flipping through a magazine before the girl’s eyes landed on Drew. Katie raised her eyebrows before turning Drew to look at her and kissing him on the lips softly right there. It wasn’t needed, but Katie couldn’t help herself. Breaking away from the kiss, Katie heard her name being called. “Katie Matlin.” a soft yet strong voice echoed through the room. “That’s us!” Katie said to Drew, tugging him up with her and walking over to the nurse. “Right this way.” she smiled, a slightly German accent lingering in her voice. Once Katie was seated in the ultrasound chair, the doctor finally came in, his slightly aging features breaking out into a handsome smile. “Ah, well if it isn’t my favorite little soccer player and her fetus.” he chuckled, pulling up a rolling seat. “Now, I assume you’re here for the sex of the baby?” Katie and Drew both nodded in sync. The doctor smiled again, taking out the cooling cream and rubbing it on Katie’s stomach after she had lifted her shirt up. Doctor Issac was the nicest doctor around, and had known Katie since she was four and he was a fresh faced 28 year old doctor. “Katie?” Doctor Issac’s voice snapped Katie out of her wandering flashback. “Yes?” she replied. “Would you like to know the gender now?” The doctor laughed lightly. Katie’s eager eyes answered for her. With a deep breath, the doctor started at the screen before looking at Drew and Katie. “A girl.” he finally proclaimed, Katie breaking out into a 10000 walt grin. “A girl!” Katie whispered excitedly, looking up at Drew.
The process of waiting in a doctor’s office seemed to drag on and on. Between the signing in to waiting for what seemed like hours in the uncomfortable green chairs; it never seemed to end. But finally Katie’s name had been called and they were on their way into the examination room where her ultrasound would take place. Butterflies began to erupt in Drew’s stomach, knots tying up in the free spaces between the butterflies as well. If you had told Drew three years ago that at the age of eighteen that he would of found his future wife and had a child on the way, he would of told you that you were crazy. Insane, even. But here he was, his fingers interlaced with Katie’s, fully ready to become a father. Once they were fully situated in the ultrasound room, Drew gave Katie’s hand a gentle squeeze, a wide smile stretched across his lips. As the doctor came in, Drew looked up at him, giving him a slight nod before shaking his hand firmly. As Doctor Issac questioned them on their intentions for this appointment, they both nodded simultaneously, causing a smile to paint at the doctor’s lips. Drew continued to hold Katie’s hand and watched as Doctor Issac gave Katie her ultrasound, the anticipation building up in his stomach more and more. He watched contently at the exchange of words between his girlfriend and the doctor before Doctor Issac finally delivered the news to the overjoyed couple.”A girl?!” Drew squeaked with delight as the news was delivered. Their baby a girl. A beautiful baby girl at that. A glimmer of joy and pride sparkled in his eyes as his gaze met with Katie’s. “Oh my god.. we’re gonna have a little girl! A little daddy’s girl. A little soccer playing, newspaper writing, beautiful, wonderful, daddy’s girl.” He said with a wise smile before he leaned in and gave Katie a passionate, excited kiss.
